My first real post and I’m going to admit that I am a huge lover of the colour black in fashion. Everyone looks great in it, every great garment is made in it, slimming, all that jazz. It’s just a fantastic colour.

This may explain why I have fallen so in love with Mister Wang’s new collection for the Northern Hemisphere’s Fall – or as we call it here, Autumn (I suppose “Fall” has a more stylish ring to it…). Black here, there and everywhere!

The black is accompanied by another of my two loves; leather and velvet. Leather has such a tough connotation attached to it, while velvet summons thoughts of elegance and luxury. Teamed together, you get a literal take of the term ‘tough-chic’ – love it!
